UNICEF Publishes Article on The Bright Kid Foundation

UNICEF South Africa has published an article entitled The Bright Kid Foundation: A true commitment to early childhood development, which takes a look at the work The Bright Kid Foundation is doing in the crucial arena of early childhood development in under-resourced communities. From the article:

Edutainer® Comments

I am very happy with the Edutainer® as it provides me with a professional classroom to teach from and earn a salary for myself and my teachers from the school fees."

Catholic Community Service Thuthukani Skilltainer

The Skilltainer purchased from Bright Kid Foundation with Lotto Funding was delivered to Catholic Community Service (CCS) on 17 January 2018, amid jubilation of all CCS staff and beneficiaries. Despite delays, the Skilltainer arrived in time for activities planned for this year. Some beneficiaries even took time to pose for photos next to it, as CCS staff members finalised inspections of this newly acquired valuable asset.

The Skilltainer will be used as venue to conduct workshops and trainings that, in the past had to be held on booked venues. From now on, CCS will save on venue expenditure in order to use that money for even more services to beneficiaries.

The Skilltainer will also serve as a meeting venue for CCS staff because the staff compliment of CCS has grown beyond the capacity of the current staff-room.
