On July 18th Bright Kid Foundation delivered a Nedbank sponsored Healthtainer (an Edutainer® converted into a sickbay with beds, medical equipment, a basin and ablution) to Mvezo Village in recognition of Nelson Mandela’s birthday.
The Healthtainer was donated to the Inkwenkwezi school where Nelson Mandela went to school, The Nedbank Healthtainer was received by Mandla Zwelivelile Mandela MP, Chief of Mvezo Village, and grandson of Nelson Mandela.
Bright Kid Foundation containers are converted off-site and delivered to the recipient schools. Unlike with brick buildings, building plans of containers are not examined and approved by municipalities. Agrèment is affiliated with the Department of Public Works and ensures that Bright Kid Foundation containers adhere to National Building regulations, including structural integrity, ventilation and insulation. Bright Kid Foundation is the only classroom container converter that is Agrèment certified
